I'm (almost) back from the dead (edited)

I didn't die, I swear! I live in the capital region of New York, and you can probably google the news about the ice storm we just had.

I have pictures and other stuff too but I'm not on my computer right now (still have no power) but I will get them up as soon as I can! Probably tomorrow.

<3

PS: I got deferred from Columbia and MIT. But it's okay because NO ONE got in anywhere. The valedictorian of our class got REJECTED from Stanford. More details later.

EDIT: technically our school doesn't have a "valedictorian" because it doesn't rank because ranking is elitist, or something, but whatevs, this kid has the highest GPA, so who cares if he's legit or not. he still didn't get in and the rest of us are still screwed, regardless.

UPDATE: I got my power back today! whoo hoo six days without power! I am finally living at home and I get to shower in my own bathroom and sleep in my own bed and eat out of my own refridgerator and MOST IMPORTANTLY, blog. yayyyyy!

ON THE OTHER HAND, there's gonna be maddddd stormz heading our way in the next few days, so I am enjoying the electricity and heat and hot water and internet while it lasts. Who knows what may happen with these coming weather disasters? The National Grid should just stake out the area. Or like, plastic wrap the power lines, and by plastic wrap I mean heavy duty protection so that the electricity stays running through the power lines like it's supposed to.

Hope you all are managing to stay warm and that you get the power back on soon.

Sorry about your deferment. Remember good things come to those who wait. :S
